Hey there everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Sean if you are reading this I am sorry I am stealing your format for the email. Nothing but respect. Anyways here are a few highlights from the week.
Funny experiences: This week we had a cita with Gabriela and Cristian and we were sitting in the park talking. All of a sudden Gabriela stopped talking and looked up and so we turned around and her son Ostin had his pants around his ankles peeing right in the middle of the park.
Also this week we decided we were gonna start working out and getting back in shape a little and so we asked my mom for workout routines we could do. After the first day Elder Wamsley was so sore that he could barely sit down and so he stopped doing those with me really fast.
Spiritual experiences: This week I had a few cool spiritual experiences.
This week I was reading Öur search for happiness¨by M. Russell Ballard and he talked about the gift of tongues and it was super awesome to think about how much I have truly been blessed with that. I am only 4 months into my mission but I am beginning to feel really comfortable with Spanish. I have been super super hard on myself but I realized that I am doing a lot better than I think and that I have truly been blessed.
Secondly, I have had some serious self doubts here on the mission. I have wondered if I am doing as good as I can and if I am a good missionary and I have beaten myself up over it. I have been struggling with a lot of things and so I asked Elder Wamsley for a blessing. After the blessing on Tuesday I had an amazing week. I was so much more confident and I was doing super well. Elder Wamsley and I were sitting in a pueblo in our area called Tiquirani waiting for our cita and we looked up at the stars and we talked about how amazing it is we have the opportunity to be here in Bolivia, learning Spanish and preaching the Gospel. The mission is hard but it has pushed me and made me grow a lot and I am very grateful for it.
Scripture of the week : 1 Nephi 21:14-16
1. It was super cold one day so we wore coats
2. All the buses around here are cool like this. This is actually one of the lamer ones but still cool
