Llego Elder Wamsley

Hola friends and family!! Sorry I didnt email last week it was crazy with the video chat thing. Wow how cool is that?? Sorry this is going to be a bit of a long email so just go ahead and jump to the pictures if you want ;)

Monday (P-Day) - We bought a ton of stuff today in the Cancha (it's like and American Flee Market) and spent way too much money but it is great. Elder Wamsley (my new comp) and I bought hammocks and they are super dope. We had a crazy night and ended up stuck in the house so we didn't do a whole lot.

Tuesday - We had our district meeting in the morning and had the best donuts in the whole world. I felt like I was back in the states. We had a Noche de Hogar at a members house and when we left an insane storm broke out and we got SOAKED. We just accepted it and started having fun splashing in puddles and stuff and it was so fun.

Wednesday- We had a bit of a rough day Wednesday. We tried searching for antiguos investigators and no one was home or no one wanted to talk to us. We had a tough time catching truffis as well and spent about an hour and a half combined waiting for them. We had an awesome cita with a girl named Sharlit. She is a lot like my little sister Bailey and it is awesome. We ate dinner in our hammocks and it was sick

The difference between my weekly planning with Elder Wamsley (on the left) compared to my weekly planning with Elder Gramatico (on the right).  As you can see it's much more productive now!

Thursday- Thursday was super tiring. We had pancakes in the morning and it was the greatest thing ever. We did our language study in the hammocks and it was nice. We didnt have any citas so we contacted for about 5 hours straight and we were dead. We got pizza for dinner and went home and crashed.

Friday- Friday was rough but super good. We had a cita with a girl named Briss and she is on track for baptism on the 23 of March. We are trying to do a noche blanca with the other elders in our ward where we are gonna do all our baptisms the same day and if things work out we will have around 15 but that is very wishful thinking. All our citas fell through so we just contacted all day but it went really well.

Saturday- We stole the other elders sandwhich maker in the morning and they still have no clue. We had all our citas fall through again so again we contacted all day. The last door we knocked was golden tho. The lady had met with missionaries before but stopped because she thought that the mission rules applied to every member and she wasnt willing to give up her family and boys to be a part of the church hahaha. Anyways we corrected that and she was super interested. She invited us in without us even asking and we taught a great lesson and have another one this week. Her name is Gabriela and she is amazing. We had a noche de hogar where we watched coco and talked about family history with some recent converts and it went super well.

Sunday- At church we had two people come up to us and ask us if we can teach them and help them prepare for baptism so that was really cool. We have been working so hard with the ward and the area and it is starting to pay off. We had about 23 failed citas this week but it was still an amazing week. We contacted a ton again and then went home and ate breakfast burritos and watched the work and the glory.

Sorry for the long email but I am just going to be trying to share more information with you all! My new comp Elder Wamsley is amazing and we are working so hard and having some good success. Thanks for all the support and everything. Have a great week!

We found a very American Restaurant and it was awesome!  That is ice cream on the top of our pancakes!

We went to the Christus for P-day today!  It was amazing!  It's the tallest in the world!
